Market Etiquette: Guidelines for a Smooth and Tidy Market

The house rules are crucial. They protect you and your business and ensure that everyone who visits has a truly enjoyable time and feels safe. These rules are the backbone of your business’s protection and provide visitors with a safe and enjoyable environment.

Respect and kindness in all interactions are important to ensure a positive environment for all traders, customers, and the market as a whole. If there’s a dispute, please contact the market manager or email the address provided. Public conflicts may deter customers from returning. Any form of bullying, arguing, passive-aggressive behaviour, intimidation, shouting, or swearing will terminate your place at the market.

Any disagreements between stall holders will be resolved fairly and effectively to prevent escalation and ensure understanding.

  • Keep all items hidden under the table and cloth, not on the stall.
  • All tables-cloths need to reach the Floor.
  • Keep your stall organised and Tidy.
  • No high-pressure sales or hard-selling. Please allow customers to approach your stall in their own time.
