Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Glastonbury Market. By accessing or using this website you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About Glastonbury Market

Glastonbury Market ("we", "us", "our") is an online marketplace operated from Glastonbury, Somerset, United Kingdom. We provide a platform that connects independent vendors ("sellers") with customers ("buyers"). Glastonbury Market is not a retailer — all products are sold directly by the individual vendors listed on the platform.

2. Using the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase or register as a vendor on this site. By using this site you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Buying on Glastonbury Market

When you place an order through Glastonbury Market, you are entering into a contract directly with the individual vendor, not with Glastonbury Market. We facilitate the transaction but are not party to the sale.

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs, timescales, and methods are set by each vendor and will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

Once an order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when the vendor dispatches your item.

4. Returns and Refunds

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

Returns are handled directly by the vendor. To initiate a return, please use the messaging system within your account to contact the vendor through your order. If your message is not responded to within 2 working days, contact us at hello@glastonburymarket.co.uk and we will assist you.

The following items are non-returnable unless faulty or misdescribed: personalised or custom-made goods, perishable items, digital downloads, and items that have been used or unsealed where hygiene applies. These will be clearly marked on individual listings.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of the vendor receiving the returned item.

5. Selling on Glastonbury Market

To sell on Glastonbury Market, you must register as a vendor and be approved by our team. By registering you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to sell the items you list.
  • All product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate and not misleading.
  • You will dispatch orders promptly within your stated timeframe.
  • You will handle all customer communications, returns, and refunds in accordance with UK consumer law.
  • You will declare all income from sales to HMRC and comply with your tax obligations.
  • You will not list counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal goods.

Glastonbury Market charges a commission on each completed sale. The current commission rate is displayed in your vendor dashboard settings. Commission is deducted automatically and is non-refundable, including in the event of a customer return.

We reserve the right to remove any listing, suspend, or permanently ban any vendor account that violates these terms, receives repeated complaints, or engages in behaviour that we deem harmful to customers or the reputation of the marketplace.

6. Commission and Withdrawals

Vendor earnings are held in your account balance after each completed sale, minus the applicable commission. You may request a withdrawal of your balance at any time, subject to a minimum withdrawal amount as set out in your dashboard. Withdrawals are processed manually and typically completed within 5 working days of approval.

Glastonbury Market reserves the right to withhold payment where there is a dispute, suspected fraud, or outstanding refund obligation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the site design, logos, text, and graphics — is the property of Glastonbury Market and may not be reproduced without written permission. Vendors retain ownership of the images and descriptions they upload, but grant Glastonbury Market a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Glastonbury Market acts as a marketplace facilitator only. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any product listed by a vendor, nor for any dispute between buyer and seller. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any transaction is limited to the value of that transaction.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of this site or any transaction made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Contact
